Staff Development for Educators (SDE), one of the nation’s leading providers of professional development for K-12 educators announce a new, one-of-a-kind event, I Teach 1st, for first grade educators this summer in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This conference will empower childhood educators with new and improved education how-to’s by exploring ready-to-implement, research-based strategies.

Make the most of every minute—the powerful instructional and time management strategies help you to work smarter and not harder.  First grade educators will learn ways to promote first graders’ independence and learning through powerful student engagement and classroom management ideas to make every day a success. As well as tips for the new school year ready to infuse teaching with innovative ideas to help fit  multiple discplines in one school day.

Effectively differentiating instruction for all levels is so important in first grade. The  conference will be packed with fresh assessment and ready-to-implement intervention strategies to help reach all your students including those with special needs, struggling or reluctant learners.

3. Arm Teachers with Hands-On Opportunities to Grow for Students

Dynamic, hands-on, make & take sessions to help confidently implement and integrate the standards into best classroom practices, and provide motivation and energy to sustain throughout the school year. Attendees will discover ways to effectively integrate the various forms of technology into classroom instruction as you promote your first graders’ independence and learning.
