I was surprised by my twin daughters and their friends recently when they ran toward the TV to see a special ‘extended sneak peak’ for the highly anticipated CINDERELLA, opening in theatres everywhere on March 13th. A group of more than six girls between ages 12-14 were all texting each other about the movie trailer for over an hour! I thought that as my girls got older they wouldn’t be interested in princess-related movies anymore. I was WRONG!! They have a party planned for the opening day so they can all go out for dinner and a movie- ayayaya que locura! (what craziness!)…So since I must not be alone with a casa full of tweens and teens who are awaiting the premiere- then I wanted to share the latest trailer. To maintain your ‘cool parent’ status you may want to share the clip with them as well:And I have MORE great news! To top it all off Disney just announced that in honor of CINDERELLA there is a sweepstakes to enter for your chance to win a 5-day, 4-night enchanting vacation for four to the Walt Disney World® Resort including one special night in the Cinderella Castle Suite! The sweepstakes ends 3/27/15 and to enter you must be 13+ and a resident of US or CA (excluding Quebec). Limit one (1) Entry per day, per person. There is only one (1) prize available to be won. Entry/Full Official Rules: http://di.sn/6009IaAB. Void where prohibited.
Go ahead and enter- our family surely will be trying to win!!Any plans to see the new CINDERELLA with your familia? Be sure and share your ideas with us!Abrazos-
As a mother of twin tweens in 2011 and an active Girl Scout Troop leader, Cristy realized there was a need to develop bilingual digital content and foster a community facing the challenges of raising kids after first grade. That year she founded and remains co-Publisher of Los Tweens & Teens, to support multicultural parents and mentors with content related to raising Gen Z- tweens & teens ages 7-18. Through the Los Tweens & Teens LIVE events such as Teens & Me – the growing team aims to provide our community with essential resources from chats with therapists to battle anxiety and bullying, to understanding social media and technology.
