I’m absolutely in LOVE this holiday season with CoverGirl’s Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Lasting Love (red hue) and Golden Opportunity (gold). I’m not a huge fan of red nail polish but this one has really grown on me. And after our interview with celebrity nail artist Mar y Sol, I’ve been inspired to try out fun nail art. After experimenting a couple of times, I developed a polka dot gold on red design that is fun, sassy and perfect for tweens and moms!
Olivia, Cristy’s daughter, and I made an easy to follow two-step tutorial video explaining just how you can get the look at home. Don’t be afraid it’s very easy!
I do recommend if you are going to try the look to use the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss colors because they dry A LOT faster than other nail polishes and there is no need for a top coat – this is important especially with tweens!
And, experiment with your own designs! Our tween daughters love when we have fun with their nails. It gives us time to talk and enjoy a little “girly time”.
