First an update to our Thanksgiving party planning post: After a little bump in the road and a limited supply of Thanksgiving decor at our local Party City store (obviously you all are listening!) we were able to pull together our Thanksgiving tables and they looked gorgeous! Here are the photos:
Our table featured Party City’s gold chargers, glass vases, candles, premium plates, gold napkins, tablecloth and fall leaves worked beautifully and seamlessly with the real stemware and butcher paper the kids used to write what they were thankful for this year.
Cristy’s table featured a special guest – the cheese and fruit turkey inspired directly from PartyCity.com! Besides Mr. Turkey, the table featured premium gold square plates, Thanksgiving napkins, tablecloth, confetti and lanterns.
While the rest of the country is in a deep freeze, Miami is still sitting with almost 90 degree weather and not a cold snap in sight. So, I’ve been having a hard time feeling the holiday spirit until I visited the Party City web site. From ideas on holiday baking to class parties and adult gatherings, the Party City site has you covered.
The First Grade Holiday Party is sneaking up on me and as a co-room mother for the grade its my job to purchase or arrange for the purchasing of the decorations, tableware, and treats. The “Joyful Snowman” Party Supplies fit the “cute but not too cute” category that makes my tween son happy and Party City has a great selection of snowman tableware, decorations, gifts and baking items to complete the party. Here’s a sneak peek of what I have planned:
The Holiday Baking is something we do as a family every Saturday before Christmas. The entire family joins me in the kitchen to make gingerbread men, peppermint meringues and much more. We spend from morning to the evening in the kitchen rolling dough, cutting shapes, baking, frosting and more. And, after all the work we go door-to-door passing out the treats to our neighbors. It’s our yearly ritual that everyone has come to know and love.
This year, I’m looking forward to using Party City’s baking supplies to pull it all off including the adorable cupcake cups, molds and toppers. Check out the selection for easy baking inspiration.

The Family Sit Down Dinner is the most extravagant event I put on in the house throughout the year. I go all out with the food, decor and planning. I like to make smaller bites and cook multiple dishes but I haven’t made the investment in purchasing smaller plates, bowls and servingware. Plus, where am I going to store it year round? I found my solution at Party City with their mini tasting party sets. They have easy to use and fun shaped bowls, spoons, plates, cubes and more. Now, I can play my own version of Top Chef during our Christmas dinner!
