We work hard to provide for our families and attend to their every need. So why is it almost impossible for us to spend time on ourselves?
Early in our marriage, my husband and I made a vow to do just that. To be together for the long haul, we realized we needed to implement a self-care and relationship strengthening plan. We vowed to take a few days, a weekend or even just a day to rejuvenate and refresh ourselves.
Spending Quality Time Together Works!
Fifteen years late, I can say its one of the best decisions we ever made. But with three children, it’s never been harder to keep our vow. We recently had the opportunity enjoy a parent’s luxury, stay-cation weekend with no children, no worries and just one addition – the Lincoln MKZ.
The luxury, comfort, fun design, driving and technology features made the Lincoln MKZ the best form of transportation between the spa, luxury hotel and around Miami. The car’s interior features plush leather seats, lots of leg room (yes, the kids tested it out) and top of the line technology including Sync. The push button shifter adds to the sleek design although it did take a little getting used to.
The Lincoln MKZ is a lot of fun to drive and definitely turns heads. It received a lot of attention including some special comments. Most notably, a valet at the Ritz – someone that is clearly no stranger luxury vehicles – stopped us to comment on the car’s design!
My favorite part of the Lincoln is the “Hello Again” campaign – a push to reintroduce consumers to the car company. Similar to a marriage that just needs a little time to reconnect, spending time with the new Lincoln MKZ will bring back all of the great memories of abuelo’s town car while wowing you with the luxury, sophistication and technology of today.
