#Rio2LiveChat ‘La Familia’ Bilingual Twitter Party
Did you and your familia fall in love with the wonderful flying amigos in the smash-hit animated adventure film, Rio? We did, and we have some great news! The cast is all heading back to the Amazon on April 11th when Rio 2 hits theatres nationwide. Join them on an adventure that is even wilder, more colorful and more fun than the original. Latina Mom Bloggers is thrilled to bring a little Brazilian flavor to Latino families in celebration of the return of our favorite characters by hosting a fun Twitter party with fantastic prizes and lots of surprises.
Rio 2 Movie Synopsis:
It’s a jungle out there for Blu, Jewel and their three kids in RIO 2, after they’re hurtled from that magical city to the wilds of the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in, he goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets the most fearsome adversary of all – his father-in-law. All our favorite RIO characters are back, and they’re joined by Oscar® nominee Andy Garcia, Grammy® winner Bruno Mars, Tony® winner Kristin Chenoweth and Oscar/Emmy®/Tony winner Rita Moreno. RIO 2 also features new Brazilian artists and original music by Janelle Monae and Wondaland.
Join Latina Mom Bloggers and Rio 2 as we host the #Rio2LiveChat ‘La Familia’ Twitter Party on Wednesday, March 26 from 9-10 pm EST and celebrate the sequel to a worldwide smash hit! As a mother of twin tweens in 2011 and an active Girl Scout Troop leader, Cristy realized there was a need to develop bilingual digital content and foster a community facing the challenges of raising kids after first grade. That year she founded and remains co-Publisher of Los Tweens & Teens, to support multicultural parents and mentors with content related to raising Gen Z- tweens & teens ages 7-18. Through the Los Tweens & Teens LIVE events such as Teens & Me – the growing team aims to provide our community with essential resources from chats with therapists to battle anxiety and bullying, to understanding social media and technology.
