KiDNuZ is the brainchild of four broadcast journalists who have nine Emmys and 12 children between them. After years of producing, reporting and anchoring news for adults, they realized that kids deserve a newscast all their own. The result is a worldly wake-up that is long enough to engage but short enough not to bore.
Five minutes of news, five days a week that will inform without bias and educate without opinion. Why? Because kids are curious, the world is fascinating and knowledge is power. Each weekday morning, kids will wake up to the day’s top stories and current events – from politics to entertainment, science, sports and more
“My kids have always been interested in the world, but most newscasts aren’t geared towards them,” says KiDNuZ founder Stephanie Kelmar. “I want to educate children about what’s going on in a way that’s fun and informative without being alarming.”
Co-founder and Editor in Chief, Ro Thomas Schwarz, agrees. “Kids are curious. KiDNuZ lets them in on the day’s headlines in a way that won’t send parents scrambling for the dial. The news we choose is real, age appropriate and always nonpartisan.”
KiDNuZ is a great way to start the day. Play it at breakfast or in the car to get your kids “in the know” and asking questions on the way to summer camp, school or wherever life takes them.
KiDNuZ, the first daily news podcast created just for kids, is free and online now at kidnuz.com.
