We are happy to announce our partnership with Miami-based parenting & therapy center, The Nest, for “Ask The Nest” – a series of tween & teen parenting education workshops & online courses. The first joint event will take place on Feb 25th at The Nest location in Miami.
“This partnership to create live events is a natural progression from our content partnership with The Nest’s founder, Lina, who is featured on our website via the editorial series titled “Ask The Nest.”
Through our joint content, we answer parenting questions from our readers. With this partnership, we bring our extensive experience together alive, to reach beyond our current online community of more than 10,000 fans,” said Cristy Clavijo-Kish, creator of Los Tweens & Teens.
The “Ask The Nest” program will feature teen & tween parenting workshops at The Nest’s Miami location, as well as live & on-demand online programs to arm parents – as well as grandparents, teachers, aunts and influencers of tweens and teens – with practical strategies and inspiring personal stories to positively impact the years between 7 – 17.
“There are multiple myths about what it takes to parent a teen. One being that parents have to “survive” this “treacherous” time. The teen years are an amazing time of quick and fast changes for your child. It is important to understand the root of their behavior so you can guide them and prepare. The first “Ask The Nest” workshop will help parents understand the teen years – rather than survive it,” said Lina Acosta, The Nest founder.
