GEL FINISH 7-IN-1 NAIL ENAMEL ($12 each)
F-i-n-a-l-l-y a nail polish that does it all! Cristy tested Avon’s line of Gel Finish Nail Enamels and was amazed by the results. This wonder shines, works as a base coat & top coat, protects, strengthens (!!), has a gel-like finish (sooo “in” right now)…and comes in 12 fun vivid colors! Best of all? No visit to the nail salon or having your hands below that UV light and even better, it lasts for over two weeks without chipping. This is great for us adults who are typing, doing dishes, exercise or other tasks with our hands. It is also a great nail polish for your tween or teen (less product = less mess).
What we did: Since we had a pale pink color and were getting ready for a family party, Cristy added an Avon glitter polish on the top for a fun twist. Here you can see the polish with glitter still in tact after two weeks. The nail grew but the polish stayed!
ULTRA COLOR INDULGENCE LIP COLOR ($9 each)

With 10 vibrant colors (with cute names) to choose from, you have ample reasons to show your smile even more 🙂 Decisions, decisions, decisions! These colors are perfect for the summer.
Fergie from The Black Eyes Peas has a perfume? She doesn’t only have one – she has four! Our “Tia-in-Charge,” Anllelic, tested Outspoken Fresh, and just like the name implies, it smells fresh and also sweet. The perfume is very light with a burst of sparkling citrus, vibrant black currant flower mixed with warm sandalwood. Perfect for weekend days, now you too can be as “Outspoken” and cool as Fergie 🙂
This ultra-lightweight super-dooper-gel-moisturizer. Our “Tia-in-Charge,” Anllelic, gave the mask to her Mami for her birthday and guess what? Mami said that it literally worked after the first application! She says that the next day, her forehead feelt smooth and soft.
How to use it: At nighttime, 3X a week over your favorite night cream and leave on overnight. This is a perfect gift for mom, tia and grandma!
As a mother of twin tweens in 2011 and an active Girl Scout Troop leader, Cristy realized there was a need to develop bilingual digital content and foster a community facing the challenges of raising kids after first grade. That year she founded and remains co-Publisher of Los Tweens & Teens, to support multicultural parents and mentors with content related to raising Gen Z- tweens & teens ages 7-18. Through the Los Tweens & Teens LIVE events such as Teens & Me – the growing team aims to provide our community with essential resources from chats with therapists to battle anxiety and bullying, to understanding social media and technology.
