The “Grow Parenting” mobile app is available now for free in the App Store.
Colombian superstar, Skakira, happens to also be a super mom and super philantropist.
Along with toys gigant, Fisher Price, she launched a new mobile bilingual app that includes over 1,800 parenting and activities with the aim of stimulate the development of babies and school children.
Through these ideas, the free app help parents positively influence their child’s growth in all areas of their lives: social, physical, cognitive, create and communication.
“It was a collaboration that included a lot of pedagogy organizations,” Shakira said to The Associated Press.
The founder of the non-profit, Pies Descalzos, has always been an activist pro the education of kids – even before becoming a mom to her two adorable sons, Milan (3) and Sasha (1), with her soccer player husband, Pique.

It has been reported that since the birth of her firstborn, Shakira, who plays the voice of “Gazelle” in Disney’s new animated movie, Zootopia, looked for advice in different forms to will help her raise her kids knowing different languages.
The “Grow Parenting” app is designed to have a simple interface with a daily tip – or with an archive where you can easily look for specific topics.
The Spanish & English app also enables parentens to document their child’s development in a very social-media manner – something that we know all moms out there love doing!
