TEEN CONTENT ALERT:
The Ford Motor Company Driving Skills for Life campaign and driving clinics are traveling around the country giving parents and influencers an excellent opportunity to help the special teens in their life build their safe driving skills. And why is this more important than ever? The NUMBER ONE KILLER OF TEENS ARE AUTO ACCIDENTS!!
Valentine’s Weekend is the Miami stop and families are invited to Sun Life Stadium for FREE hands-on driving clinics to help teens improve their skills in these key areas: hazard recognition, vehicle handling, speed and space management, braking and stopping distances, reaction time and how to avoid the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. This half-day course is intended for newly licensed drivers to practice these skills in a safe, controlled environment with professional instructors sitting next to them. Register your teen driver today by visiting www.drivingskillsforlife.com. By the way, adults also can register to improve their own skills too. Know any recent drivers that can use the tips and guidance? Invite them to register.
Once families arrive onsite, there is roughly a 30 minute registration period where students have their photo taken with a vehicle that is then framed for them as an event gift when they leave. The students are also asked to take a quiz upon arrival and following the clinic to actually measure their improvement. Students can register f0r the morning session that runs between 7:30 AM – Noon and the afternoon session runs between 1 PM – 5:30 PM.
BE READY AROUND THE COUNTRY!
So far the clinics will stop in San Antonio, Chicago and Detriot next but keep checking for added locations: https://www.drivingskillsforlife.com/events-cat/events

As a mother of twin tweens in 2011 and an active Girl Scout Troop leader, Cristy realized there was a need to develop bilingual digital content and foster a community facing the challenges of raising kids after first grade. That year she founded and remains co-Publisher of Los Tweens & Teens, to support multicultural parents and mentors with content related to raising Gen Z- tweens & teens ages 7-18. Through the Los Tweens & Teens LIVE events such as Teens & Me – the growing team aims to provide our community with essential resources from chats with therapists to battle anxiety and bullying, to understanding social media and technology.
