Whether or not you have watched Netflix‘s new series, “13 Reasons Why,” you probably have heard of it. It’s a new scripted series, produced by superstar Selena Gomez, which have generated a lot of buzz due to it’s plot, which is centered on a group of high school students, where the protagonist is recounting why she killed himself – 13 reasons exactly.
As may imagine, there has been a lot of buzz stemming from the series. For one part, it was producted by Selena and distributed by Netflix (already making it buzz-worthy), but what has drawn more attention is the plot itself: some argue is a little too much for younger viewers, or the fact that alternatives for suicide were never brought up in the storyline, with others just aknowledging the fact that the series brings to the spotlight an important topic that needs to be spoken about more.
