Time seems to go so fast during the holidays. Decorations, presents, food, familia, and friends make up the whirlwind that is the holidays. Let’s take time out together to think of those people that made a special impact in our lives: our mentors. Whether a teacher, coach, family member or friend these special people in our lives deserve a moment of recognition during the holidays. AND, let’s pay it forward.
Did you know that “Latino Littles” are less likely to skip school, use drugs or begin drinking then their counterparts who are not in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program? Los Tweens is committed to making a difference this holiday season and year round by supporting our future. Join us on Thursday, December 13th from 1-2p.m. EST to discuss the great mentors that have made an impact in our lives as well as the way we can change the life of a child.
