JACKSONVILLE, FL - April 15, 2026 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Type 1 diabetes awareness is at the forefront of a Jacksonville family’s mission as they transform a life-changing diagnosis into advocacy, education, and community impact through their initiative, Pablo’s Pack T1D, and their continued participation in the upcoming Breakthrough T1D Walk.

When Andrea and her husband, Pablo, learned that their son, Pablo, had Type 1 diabetes, their lives changed overnight. What began as uncertainty evolved into a shared commitment to understanding the condition, adapting daily routines, and supporting their son through every stage of his journey.

Through Pablo’s Pack T1D, the family shares their experience managing Type 1 diabetes, providing resources and fostering a supportive community for families navigating similar challenges. Their platform highlights the realities of daily glucose monitoring, lifestyle adjustments, and the emotional resilience required to manage the condition.

Beyond their personal story, the family actively participates in the Breakthrough T1D Walk, a national fundraising initiative that brings together families, advocates, and supporters to advance research and improve the lives of individuals living with Type 1 diabetes.

The event supports efforts focused on accelerating scientific breakthroughs, improving access to care, and advancing toward a cure, while also creating opportunities for families to connect and share their experiences.

“After our son’s diagnosis, everything changed, but it also gave us a purpose,” Andrea said. “We want other families to know they are not alone and that there is a community working toward a better future.”

Through storytelling and community engagement, Pablo’s Pack T1D continues to raise awareness and encourage participation in initiatives that support ongoing research and advocacy.

More information about their journey and participation in the walk is available at https://www.pablospackt1d.com.
