Researchers suggest that by 2020, there are expected to be one million more computing jobs than students in the U.S. which could lead to an untapped market of $500 billion.
There is a staggering deficit of women, less than 25%, in the STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. While male students are three times more likely to be interested in pursuing a STEM career than women according to STEM connect report.
